Our session at the 2023 AMS/SMT joint meeting in Denver will be Saturday evening, November 11, 8pm to 10pm.
Maria Sonevytsky will be our invited speaker on the topic of “Retrofitting the Bandura for a Soviet Childhood: Ukraine’s National Instrument, Violent Erasures, and the Plan for a Communist Music.” Anicia Timberlake, Knar Abrahamyan, and Joy Calico will be discussants.
Our business meeting will follow during the same session.
